A dried soybean is designed to last. Fresh edamame is not. It is harvested while the pod is green and the beans are tender, which gives it the texture people love but also gives it a short, specific season.
That is why our first drops begin at the farm, not at a warehouse. We grow the crop near Bengaluru, wait for the actual harvest window, then work out delivery clusters that make sense for fresh pods. The result should be a better eating experience and a more honest preorder.
Seasonality does not need to be mysterious. We can tell you what stage the field is in, share an expected harvest range, and then replace that range with a confirmed date when the crop is ready. That is less dramatic than a permanent “available now” sign, but it is a lot more useful.
